MWSC has pledged a Sports Scholarship as part of the Maldives Olympics Committee program “Partners for MV Sports”.

At a special reception held today, Managing Director Mr. Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed stated that, in support of His Excellency President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s statement, MWSC is pledging to sponsor a Sports Scholarship for one local young athlete for 1 year.

As gratitude for the sponsorship, a symbolic baton was handed over to the Managing Director Mr. Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed by the Secretary General of Maldives Olympic Committee, Mr. Marzoog Ahmed.

Speaking at the ceremony, Managing Director Mr. Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed highlighted that MWSC has carried out a number of CSR projects in the past, and assured that more CSR initiatives will be carried out in the future
