MWSC has signed contract with Hitachi Aqua-Tech Engineering to supply, install, and commission a new RO Plant in MWSC, Hulhumale’.

Under this agreement, an RO plant with a capacity of 3000 cbm/day will be established in MWSC’s Hulhumale’ Operation Center. It is estimated that this project will be finished within a period of 7 months.

Speaking at the ceremony, Managing Director of MWSC Mr. Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed highlighted that this project will cater for Hulhumale’ Phase 2 to supply for future growth in demand and to further secure provision of water in the region.

The Agreement was signed on behalf of MWSC by the Managing Director Mr. Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed and the Managing Director, Mr. Tang Chay Wee on behalf of Hitachi Aqua-Tech Engineering.
