A Special Function honoured by His Excellency President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom was held to inaugurate the new water and sewer services in GA. Kolamaafushi.

Under the Contract with the Ministry of Environment and Energy, MWSC completed the design and build of water supply network, ground water storage tanks and reverse osmosis plant and allied works based on Integrated Water Resources Management approach of dual rainwater harvesting and reverse osmosis water supply model. Furthermore, MWSC completed the design & build of sewerage collection network, sewage pumping stations & sea outfall pumping stations in GA. MWSC spent USD 3,669,566.18 to build the Water and Sewerage system in GA. Kolamaafushi.
