Inauguration of Water Services at G.Dh Thinadhoo

Inauguration of Water Services at G.Dh. Thinadhoo was held on 26^th July 2010 along with Independence Day celebrations. Minister of Housing & Environment, Mr. Mohamed Aslam was the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. During the official meeting, Certificate of completion for the First Phase of the project was awarded to MWSC by the Minister.

Furthermore, a presentation on G.Dh Thinadhoo Water Network Project, second phase, was also given by the Engineering Manager, Mr. Mohamed Rasheed during the Ceremony.

Second phase of this project started on May 2010.A 21.3km of Water Network was laid thus water services will be provided to all the 1200 houses of Thinadhoo. The duration of this Project will be 8 months, with a project value of Rf.12, 379,938.05.

In addition to these events, Minister also visited MWSC’s Water Production Centre at Gd.Thinadhoo and he attended the ground breaking Ceremony for the Housing Project too.
